Wake Up

Dreaming, Dreaming, Dreaming

She held her lost cold soul

as It flew away with her

She knew not where she would go

Over water, and to a ledge

She thought she would fall,

But something got wedged

In a cleft of the rock that was on the edge

Recover, Recover, "Hold on!"

Something was screaming behind her,

No sooner had she looked back to see,

She forgot!

It was herself back there,

She looked back, and she saw it was me

A tear rolled slowly down her face,

She pleaded with me,

"Let me go at my own pace!"

But I was afraid, That jump was so far

How would the bottom treat us,

My fear held us back

I knew not how that water would attack

But in the face of my fears, I attacked back

Running as fast as I could,

I grasped her once again, and flew across the edge

Falling, Falling, Falling

My fear faded and I became excited

Flying, Flying, Soaring,

Above this world I thought I had left

And then I realized one thing

It was not from the ledge of which I had leaned

It was from a past

From a fear

From a blindness

Now my reality

tied me up in No strings

Now It's not the limited sky for me

But further, as far as my imagination is

Forever I can Lean.

Now I fly

Never dying

The death I see

Never Crying

My fear is gone

I am strong

And in this life

I'll sing that song

And to no end, I will long

So Long My Friend

Long long long

Continues the windy path

Of a life that I live in

Endless is the math

That counts up until I die again

In this life I count on

One human friend

The end, the end

Takes its toll on the sinner

I'm forgiven so I'll live in eternity

Forever

But until I die

I'll walk forward

Till I'm with you I'll cry

I loved you for so long

You know I'll love you still

Friend of mine

I run, I run.

In one direction

The smile I have in front of you

In your presence thickens

And I respect you,

Oh, I respect you

And I pray to god

That you will find me again

But for now

I sing softly

So long my friend

You Are My Sunshine

Did you know that you're my sunshine

you make me bright

I can enjoy the evening

with you in my night

Hold me, Hold me

Dear, you make me smile

It's with you that I experience

The happiness of a child

You love me, You love me,

A love I know it's true,

I trust you, I trust you

My best friend I know is you

You Brighten up my day, take my loneliness away

Dear you are my sunshine and

Know I'd never send you away

Because you are my sunshine today

My freedom came all my shame

has left

I can see clearly and happiness I've kept

and you are my susnshine in so many

words, I'd ask you to stay and

know I'd never send you away

They asked that the sunshie never leave,

But I sing

that I'm yours to keep

And so with you I'll stay, And I will

Never ask you to go away

Congrats on your first hub, Karraline! This is a very sensual poem. Thank you for sharing this. The way in which I found Hubpages was one day, I was Google searching a way in which to blog and then came across this site! You are certainly not alone! Being a "Hubber" is one of the funnest things you can be on-line. I hope you'll agree. Talk to you soon and good luck!
